The founder of the Parham Law Firm, LLC, Rose Mary Parham divides her practice between criminal defense matters and personal injury litigation. Her office is located in Florence, and she represents clients throughout South Carolina, the state where she was born and raised. Ms. Parham has been admitted to practice in South Carolina since 1999, and she is also admitted to practice in Texas as well as before the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.
Ms. Parham’s criminal defense clients are people who have been charged by the state or federal government with having committed felony or misdemeanor offenses. The types of cases that she has handled on their behalf have included driving under the influence of alcohol, drug possession and distribution, homicide, sex crimes, mortgage and mail fraud, conspiracy, securities violations, and other serious offenses. Ms. Parham’s courtroom skills have led to numerous dismissals and acquittals, and she has also been able to negotiate favorable plea agreements with prosecutors when appropriate.
In her personal injury and wrongful death practice, Ms. Parham provides aggressive representation to clients who have been harmed due to the negligence of other parties. She has worked on cases involving truck and other motor vehicle crashes, nursing home abuse, medical malpractice, and nursing home negligence, and her clients have obtained significant amounts of compensation as a result of jury awards as well as settlements that she has negotiated out of court.
