Description
Hello, and welcome to Eric Skager Law.
Thank you for visiting www.trafficticketnc.com. You are here because you were recently cited for a moving violation on one of the many scenic highways and byways the Central Piedmont portion of North Carolina has to offer, and are considering your next step. I have been representing people like yourself in North Carolina’s criminal and traffic courts since 1997, and I would like to assist you in handling your traffic matter.

There are important things to consider in every traffic case. Did you know that a conviction for speeding 81 mph in a 70 mph zone will revoke your license? Few people do. Depending upon severity, a conviction for a moving violation can suspend your license and drastically increase what you currently pay for insurance. If not handled properly, a traffic ticket could increase your premiums by 25% on the low end, and by 400% in the most severe cases. These increases remain in effect for three years.

Never pay off a traffic ticket without first consulting an attorney experienced in criminal and traffic law. I have represented thousands of individuals in Guilford, Davidson, Randolph and Forsyth Counties since 1997 and I am available to help you. I will be your advocate in court, shifting the burden of the legal process from your shoulders to mine so that you can focus on those matters important to your daily life.

I can resolve your case without you having to appear in court. Why take the time to appear in court when an experienced attorney can go in your place and do it effectively and affordably? It’s a no brainer. I know with whom to deal with on a particular case and who to avoid.

Each county I practice in has a different District Attorney’s Office and each office follows different protocols in regard to traffic court. For instance, the ADA’s in Guilford County will not negotiate a reduction to any speeding case 90 mph and above. So you have to know which judge will help you, and which one won’t. That is why hiring an experienced, local attorney is so important, and why you shouldn’t handle your case on your own.

If you are not knowledgeable regarding North Carolina’s Chapter 20 statutes, the North Carolina DMV points system, or the NCSDIP (insurance points) system, it is best to at least consult an attorney regardless of how minor you may think your ticket is. And why not? All consultations are free.

My staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and our convenient service allows you to pay remotely over the phone or website with a debit or credit card.

My fees are extremely competitive, and begin at $75.00 for infraction cases.

I have two office locations in Guilford County (Greensboro and High Point) and provide my clients with a direct number which they can use until 9:00 pm Monday through Saturday. If you received an advertisement from my office, we have your case on file and will not need anything from you. And again, all consultations are free of charge. Thank you again for visiting www.trafficticketnc.com, we look forward to hearing from you.
